​THE CASE
​
I was asked to design a new Hair Dryer object for the Sims 4 for this assignment. The deliverable would be a complete design document depicting the details of this object for the design leads and cross-functional partners to read.
​THE SOLUTION
​
A Hair Dryer object that a player can interact with when playing the Sims 4. The object would be able to be hanged on walls, and the player can interact with it to change their Sims' looks.
​THE RESULT
​
A complete design document describing the requirements for this object, the design concept, and the detailed design specification needed to create and add this object to the game.
​RESPONSIBILITIES
​
As a designer, I was responsible for defining the requirements needed for this object. This included doing research on hair dryers and their possible functionalities based on the already-existing object and interaction options in the Sims 4.
I was also responsible for writing an easy-to-read yet complete design document for this object.
